Had such a lovely time, daughter, mom and grandma welcomed us into their house and treated us amazingly. The house is beautiful and the rest of the quinta as well. Would definitely recommend. Close to a stunning villages, vineyards and untouched gems of Portugal.

We did wine tasting. It’s really incredible! I recommend it to everyone who wants to try. It was our first time of it. This is more than just wine tasting, it’s an experience you will remember. Elizabeth is very pleasant and nice! Wine is delectable

Quinta do fôjo is truly a gem of the Douro valley and I was lucky enough to experience staying at the property for two nights and joining her afternoon wine tasting (favorite wine in Portugal). The owner Elisabete is the most generous host I’ve ever encountered and made me feel like family. As a first time solo female traveler, I can’t tell you how wonderful that felt. As soon as I got to the property I deeply exhaled, sat by the pool, read a book, walked the vineyards, enjoyed a tasting with her and even went to dinner with her and her family. I am truly blown away by her hospitality. Her Quinta is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. She made my experience so special and I will definitely be back.

Absolutely outstanding! Phenomenal port. Literally the best I've ever tasted. In addition, I've tasted wines from France that pale in comparison with the red from this family winery.

Incredible experience. Elisabeth was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain the story of the vineyard, the traditional method of port making, etc. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Came to this vineyard and met Elizabeth for a wine tasting as part of a wine tour with Porto Locals. It was fantastic! Elizabeth told us the history of the vineyard in her family and showed us where wine was made, processed and stored. The wine tasting was awesome and paired with local bread, homemade jams and cheese. I highly recommend visiting this local vineyard!
